2009-01-10 - INSANITY CLAUSE

  • Knite Force Records Showcase
  • In 1992 breakbeats were starting to get faster, darker and weirder, before the split between happy hardcore, jungle, leaving the oldschool techno sound around. along comes christopher howell, reaching critical success with his recent release of 'sesam-e's treat' while working with the group smart-e's with an emotional sound paving the way for artists to copy for years on end. choosing his new alias luna-c he started to output some serious breakbeat damage, along with label mates, cru-l-t, jimmy j. as time went on the dark sounds moved into uplifting happy anthems, paving the sound of happycore for many years, until financial and artist differences forced the demise of the label. fast forward a few years and knite force comes back alive with a new label, a fresh set of artists, and to this day still runs strong with heavily laden breakbeats and unique samples setting it apart from other labels. with a tonne of sublabels underneath their wing, this will allow us this week to showcase all that these uk nutters have to offer. this is our first label showcase of 2009 on SLEIZURE - going into our 6th YEAR!!
