From the south of France, Interface 68 has been at the forefront of the psychedelic tekno movement since 1998. With over 2 dozen releases on vinyl, and dozens of mixtapes and MP3 releases, he’s busy playing the underground parties every week with his unique sound and Live PA. and breaks  since 1998. From his start in 1990, Adam (brother of Frankie Bones) has always stayed on the cutting edge of electronic music. Never restricting himself to just one particular style of techno, Adam’s continuously evolving sound has progressed from the darker moods of early Belgian, German, UK, and Detroit techno, to a harder, more uptempo and futuristic acid sound (often performed live with former partner Jimmy Crash). By the time the acid sound had reached its peak in popularity in 1994, Adam had already moved on to a more stripped-down, minimal approach in his DJing and productions.
Sometime around the year 2000, Adam was finding himself bored of the music coming out and critical of the direction that techno music was taking. Always anxious to discover sounds he’s never heard before, Adam truly realised what he’d been in search of through an ironic twist of fate that was perfectly timed: a style of music from a totally different music scene than he was used to that perfectly suited his personality and frame of mind – EBM, Powernoise and Industrial. From that point on, Adam’s mission is about bridging the gap between Industrial and Techno and crossing the boundaries between these two parallel scenes of music. Adam shut down his “Sonic Groove” record store and moved to Berlin in the 2000′s where he currently resides.

Candy, hailing from France has over 3 dozen records released over the past 10 years, generally focusing on breakbeats with later releases fusing in techno into the tracks. This mix is a perfect example of some of his talents recorded live on December 20th, 2005 using Fruity Loops or FL Studio. This set has been in constant rotation in our players for the past 5 years, and would love to share the goodness with you. TOECUTTER has been making punk electronics for about 10 years in Australia, producing noise between house and breakcore, and trashing contemporary dance music on the way. We first met this character while he was touring alongside Ec8or in Vancouver, BC in 2001 – happily waving around ghetto tech LP’s he recently picked up in Detroit. Throughout the course of a few vinyl releases and 3 CDs he’s managed to decimate the concept of dance music to make some incredibly sounding tracks. Here’s a live set from Vienna Austria from 2004 that showcases some of his material from his label SYSTEM CORRUPT and a few twists.

SOUND CONSPIRACY was born on automn 1997 from the union of three Sound Systems: OKUPE ,TOTAL RESISTANCE & FACOM UNIT. Under this form they travelled all around west and east Europe, playing massive free parties with their mobile sound system, free vibes and free spirits. In 1998 they embarked on a journey across Europe and drove across into Goa, India. Staying there for a year throwing parties to dismay to the other soundsystem providers at that time, they continually pushed the boundaries of music for the all day revellers. Since then, the team has since disbanded and gone their own ways but are still very active in the freetekno scene.

This mix is 46 minutes long and was recorded in Goa, India 1999.

Mark N. aka Overcast, one of the members of the Australian cheapcore group Nasenbluten, also stood as the frontman of Bloody Fist records from 1994-2004, consistently hammering peoples eardrums with provocative 8-bit “cheapcore” tracks, mildly amusing, and very hard laced. He packed up shop and moved to Melbourne where he runs NoiseXchange, a storefront and online record shop catering to hardcore lovers needs.

In 1999 Mark N traveled to the USA for a rare appearance at “Oracle” in Los Angeles, where the footage was used for the popular movie “Groove” before heading over to West Stallis Wisconsin and recording this mix in the basement of the Distort House (Dan Doormouse, Addict Records, etc). This 90 minute mix goes down as a legendary archival of hard drum and bass and hardcore.  Don’t sleep on this classic.

Sleizure has been all over Mark N and Bloody Fist’s jock, and you can hear what we did with our 2004 – G’DAY MATE! and a 2008 Bloody Fist Showcase.

After years of noisy punk music as guitarist or bassman in NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE and after some experiences as a drummer, JAKA aka Dr.Green aka David Zeleny aka David Green has joined INFRABASS sound system in 1995. After his first liveset in 1996 with Mikis (now guitarist in BURNING HEADS), he began to play alone in 1999 . The Infrabass sound is a truly unique hard techno experience with multiple layers of breakbeats, basslines, and unique sample work. This live set by Jaka from 2003 is 85 minutes long and contains a non stop live PA of David Green’s work.

SLEIZURE also paid respect to Infrabass with the 2009-03-14 – INFRABASS SHOWCASE.

Some absolute early techstep classics and essential for anyone who has an interest in jungle, drum & bass, and anything that came after it. Seriously, I’ve been listening to this for over 13 years and it still doesn’t get tiresome.

Coming from a Black Metal background Roel Dewaele aka Mr. Gasmask, part of the acid techno crew Emetic has been making music since 1998 using minimal pieces of electronics. Over the past 5 years he has released a handful of vinyl releases, and dozens of tracks in between his many live performances. His tracks are fast paced, hard hitting, and heavy laced with TB-303 squelches. This live performance captured at the end of 2009 at in the Netherlands at Korps Mekanik gives you a sample of this mans talent.
